What does our logo mean?

Three gold spheres suspended from a solid bar is the international symbol for Pawnbrokers.  As the story goes, Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of pawnbrokers, gave three bags of coins to the three daughters of a poor man so they could marry.  Back in the those days, if a girl's father was not able to give a proper dowry, she was not able to be married; which meant a very hard life.  The three spheres in the symbol represent the three bags of gold. 

There are a couple other legends out there as well, but at Oahe Pawn, we are going with this one.
