Oahe Pawn has a federal firearms license and is in the business of buying, selling, trading, and pawning firearms. In order to do this and to remain complaint with federal law there are a few items that you should know.

If you pawn or consign a gun with us, we are required by federal law to complete a ATF-form 4473, or background check prior to giving your firearm back to you, even if ownership was never transferred to Oahe Pawn. No person may receive a firearm who does not pass the background check.

You may have a firearm shipped to us from another FFL. We charge $25.00 for this service.

All firearms must be unloaded with the action in the open position prior to bring them into our store.
